I got a bank loan of 3K for a guy I was seeing back in 2004 and he swore blind he would pay it back within a few months... I'm still waiting! He also didn't tell me he had a girl :( We stopped talking a few months after he told me he had a girl, he broke it off and it got a bit messy. They eventually started paying me bits off each week. He left me to pay back most of it myself which was difficult, I struggled to to buy food sometimes and had to ask friends/family to lend a hand. Then me and this guy started seein each other again after 5months of not talking as him an his girl finished! Well, I thought they had but it was too long before they were sleeping together again. Then she got pregnant! But we remained friends, and he wasn't working so I helped him out here and there with bits of cash. Let him use my phone so he could call up for jobs as he needed to get one, (what I didnt know was he was using it to ring girls he met off the net) let him use my net to apply for jobs

I had a %26quot;friend%26quot; like that.... I was constantly helping him out. It went of for YEARS and I was always struggling. Then one day I decided enough was enough and I cut him off. I don't see him, talk to him or have any contact with him at all anymore. IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE DONE. Me_me, let this be a lesson to you. Never borrow or lend money to anybody.( unless its a very close family/friend who may need less than $100.00, then make up an agreement, have them sign it, and use that against them).You work hard for your pay. Dont let people walk all over you. If your having problems of this person not paying you back, simply tell him your taking him to small claims court. Where he has to pay court cost to you. And also if you kept any reciepts of him paying you back, this stands out in court. Let the world know how much of a pain in the bucket this loser friend of yours is.

If you have documentation take him to court. Or simply kiss your money good-bye and get on with your life. You will be much happier to put this %26quot;baby%26quot; to sleep. it's difficult to ask for ur money to ur friend if you don't have any official statement that he owes you.

either let it go and cut all help, cancel your credit card and travel card that he 'borrowed'.

In the circumstances now, I'd go down the legal route and give him the gypsy's warning and say that you will apoint a debt collector to handle this debt. Your so called %26quot;friend%26quot; is a user and an abuser of your good nature unfortuntately.Produce enough details about him in order to make him realise you could possibly get him into trouble if he doesn't pay. There's no violence involved. Total up the debt and present him with it. Most of all though DON'T DO IT AGAIN, he's not worth it and you end up the loser not him!
